HRMG 5670 Applied Statistics

Credits: 3

This course teaches the basic descriptive and inferential statistics used to analyze human resources management, business, and management problems. Specifically, the course will teach descriptive statistics, probability theory, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, correlations, simple and multiple regression, and basic model building and testing. Most statistical analyses will be conducted using Microsoft Excel, so students should be somewhat familiar with Excel. Students who have completed BUSN 5760 may substitute another course for HRMG 5670.
